So I just read the preview for Untold.

What is Sarah Rees Brennan trying to do to her readers. Oh my god I will not be ready when Untold is actually released in August.

I like Kami and Jared together and the scene she just played out for us is like a slap in the face.

When we asked for a make out scene or a kiss WE DID NOT MEAN WITH HOLLY. I’m going to cry

One time, three years ago, I read this book called Demon’s Lexicon by Sarah Rees Brennan and was like “Hmm, that was a good book” and was done. And then three days ago, I picked it up again with the two sequels figuring “Hey, a quick read! This book was fun, so I should at least try the sequels”. AND NOW I AM EMOTIONALLY COMPROMISED BECAUSE WHY DID I WAIT SO LONG I mean, really, Demon’s Surrender has been out for like a year. Why hasn’t its siren song of awesomeness attracted me earlier? Maybe this is why the past year has been kind of crappy. IT’S BECAUSE I FAILED TO READ THESE BOOKS EARLIER But seriously, if you like really well written characters and engaging, twisty plots and people who lie and people who always tell the truth and supernatural stuff, and teenagers, and not-really-a-love-triangle done right, and teen romance done right, and also sassiness and emotion and people who love and fight for each other through impossible odds, then why are you not reading these books guys? Demon’s Lexicon, Demon’s Covenant, and Demon’s Surrender by Sarah Rees Brennan. GO NOW. *delighted by the picture* I sometimes think of the trilogy as all gone now—all finished, no more! must think of the two new books!—and it’s wonderful to be reminded that the books can find people, leap out at them as a shiny new surprise.
